CGRoverboard CONAN: TOWER OF THE ELEPHANT for iPad Video Game Review

November 4th, 2011 25 comments

Classic Game Room presents a CGRoverboard review of Conan: Tower of the Elephant from Chillingo for the iPad. Coinciding with the release of the new Conan movie, Conan: Tower of the Elephant is a top-down action game that has lots of RPG element. You control Conan by touching the circle on the bottom left, and you attack by touching the circle on the bottom right. It’s an easy game to understand. You run around, accept quests and slice up enemies, and as long as you’re into Conan, that’s probably enough to keep you interested. The game’s story is told via cut scenes that look like comic books. You even have to swipe the screen like you’re flipping a page to access the next scene, which is a really cool touch. I like the presentation in this game…or at least, the presentation during the cut scenes. In game, on the other hand, things aren’t as interesting. This video review features video gameplay footage of Conan: Tower of the Elephant for the iPad and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. October 23rd, 2011 3 comments

Question by Danielle: Nook Kindel or Ipad or something different? I really don’t know.?
I want one of these three, I just don’t know what to chose.
Also I’m not even sure if these have what I am looking for..
Here is what I’m looking for if you know can you tell me
which is best? Or if there is something out there better
suited for what I’m looking for thanks(:

I want to read books; plus magazines, maybe comics(Not THAT big of a deal) and all.
I want to watch movies;
I want to listen to music;
I want to play games;
I want to have internet;
——-
I’m thinking the Ipad? maybe..
They’re just SO expensive..
And who knows I may be looking
for too much? I don’t know, I just want
something worth the money.. Is there
something here I haven’t listed?

(ALSO; is there anything you can watch mobile TV on?)
^Just a random question.

Thankssss.

I REALLY love my iPad (I’m using it right now). I would get a iPad, the iPad 1 is 320 and up it’s expensive but worth it. I don’t have any experience with android tablets but you can try those they are cheaper. I wouldn’t get a nook kindle though.
I’m sure about mobile tv
